Abstract or summary
Pas miratimit të Udhëzuesit për Politikën Ndëshkimore, nga ana e Seancës së Përgjithshme të Gjykatës Supreme në shkurt të vitit 2018, është themeluar Komisioni Këshilldhënës për Politikën Ndëshkimore me qëllim të monitorimit të trendeve në politikën ndëshkimore në Kosovë. Ky raport paraqet dokumentin e parë të përgatitur nga Komisioni dhe ka për qëllim: - Të jap një pasqyrim të përgjithshëm bazuar në vendimet e marra gjatë vitit 2018 nga gjykatat e të gjitha instancave në veprat që ndërlidhen me korrupsion; dhe - Të jap një analizë më të detajuar mbi trendet në matjen e dënimit në rastet e korrupsionit bazuar në analizën e 27 lëndëve të zgjedhura rastësisht.

| Translated abstract or summary: | After the adoption of the Sentencing Guidelines, by the General Assembly of the Supreme Court, on February 2018, a Sentencing Advisory Commission was established with the purpose of monitoring the sentencing trends in Kosovo and further propose and develop specific guidance to the justice system to ensure more consistency in sentencing. This report presents the first document prepared by the Commission and its purpose is: - to provide a general overview based on the 2018 corruption related offences and the decisions imposed by the various courts Kosovo-wide; and - to provide a more thorough analysis on the trends in sentencing in corruption related offences based on the analysis of 27 randomly selected cases. |
