Abstract or summary
Ky raport vjetor ka për qëllim që të paraqesë punën dhe të arriturat e Institutit Gjyqësor të Kosovës (IGJK) në ushtrimin e funksioneve ligjore të tij, në vitin 2008. Duke iu përgjigjur nevojave të sistemit gjyqësor dhe me qëllim të përmbushjes së mandatit ligjor, Instituti Gjyqësor i Kosovës gjatë vitit 2008 përveç Programit të Vazhdueshëm për Arsimim Ligjor, ka filluar realizimin edhe të programeve të tjera trajnuese të cilat dalin si përgjegjësi nga ligji, aktet nënligjore dhe Plani Strategjik i IGJK-së. Në fund të muajit qershor dhe fillim të korrikut u hartua, vlerësua dhe administrua Provimi Përgatitor/Hyrës për kandidatët potencial për gjyqtarë dhe prokurorë, ndërsa në shtator të këtij viti u fillua realizimi i programit për përgatitjen e kandidatëve për gjyqtarë dhe prokurorë i ashtuquajtur Programi Fillestar për Arsimim Ligjor (PFAL).

| Translated abstract or summary: | This Annual Report aims to provide an overview of the work and achievements of the Kosovo Judicial Institute (KJI) through the implementation of its functions in 2008, as set forth by law. In response to the needs of the judicial system and with the purpose of fulfilling it’s legal mandate, the Kosovo Judicial Institute during 2008, in addition to the Continuous Legal Education Program, carried out implementation of other programs envisaged under it’s law, by-laws and strategic plan. Beginning in July, the Preparatory/Entry Exam was written, assessed and administered by KJI to potential candidates for judges and prosecutors, whereas, in September of the same year the began the Initial Legal Education Program (ILEP) or program for the preparation of candidates for future judges and prosecutors. |
